Srinagar, June 07: A joint welfare committee was formed under the name of Central Coordination Committee in Dalgate. The committee compromises of 14 Mohalla committees and over a dozen masjid Intizamia committees. The main Purpose of this Central committee is to work for the welfare of people around and especially for youth who are involved in drugs and other unlawful activities.

The central Coordination committee is a non-political organization working totally and precisely for the welfare of people in need everywhere. After a secret ballot voting on 07/06/2020, an executive body, an advisory council was formed. Below are the details for the main executive body.
1:- Showket Ahmad President
2:- Hilal Ahmad Laway Vice President
3:-Muzamil Maqbool General Secretary
4:- Rouf Ahmad Wani Secretary Management
5:- Arif Jan Treasurer
6:- Shabir Hussain Organizer
During the Joint meeting Muzamil Maqbool Who was elected as general secretary for CCC said, there is dire need of coordination among all mohallas and we have to work as one to end all social evils. Arif Jan who is Treasurer for the central committee said, Central committee must focus mainly on elderly population in our communities and our main focus would remain to reach every elderly and destitute populas in need. President Showket Ahmad along with General Secretary Muzamil Maqbool also framed a 20 member advisory council with 100’s general member body and volunteer groups for Central Coordination Committee.
