Mushtaq Veeri booked under PSA, shifted to Jammu Jail

Srinagar, March 14 : Authorities on Thursday booked religious scholar and Jamiat Ahle Hadees vice President, Moulvi Mushtaq Veeri under draconian law, Public Safety Act (PSA) and shifted him to a jail in Jammu.

Veeri was arrested on February 23 from his residence, the day when dozens of Jamaat-e-Islami activists were also arrested.

On February 23, late evening Veeri along with Difaye Jamiat Ahle Hadees leader Moulana Maqbool Afrani were arrested by police
