Mumbai, June 18 Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) received a major jolt on Sunday when party deputy leader Shishir Shinde submitted his resignation letter to the party chief Uddhav Thackeray.
Without making any public accusations through this letter, I ‘Jai Maharashtra’ to you, Shinde stated.
In his letter, Shinde mentioned his detailed resignation. He regretted that he was not getting an opportunity to work in the party.
Shinde was not given any responsibility for four years, and then he was given an ornamental post, so four years of his life were wasted.
He has also said Shiv Sena has not been discredited due to any of his actions.
After Raj Thackeray left Shiv Sena, Shinde supported him and left Shiv Sena. Then on June 19, 2018, Shinde rejoined the Shiv Sena. But after returning home, he had to wait for four years for political rehabilitation in the party.
After Eknath Shinde’s rebellion, Shinde became the Deputy Leader of Shiv Sena. He was elected MLA from Bhandup Assembly Constituency in 2009. After that, he was defeated in the elections held in 2014.
