Srinagar, February 2(KMW): All Parties Hurriyat Conference (M) senior leader and Chairman People’s Political Party (PPP) Engineer Hilal Ahmad War was put under house arrest today evening when a contingent of police from Maisuma Police Station visited his house and put on guard several cops informing him that his movement was restricted.
According to a party press note, War was scheduled to register a “peaceful protest march” on Sunday (February 3, 2019) against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir “which is an internationally recognized disputed territory.”
