In a statement to news agency, MMM has stated that an important meeting of the amalgam was held in which the way and means for seeking the mortal remains of Afzal Guroo and Maqbool Bhat was discussed.
“People are being requested to hold demonstrations after Friday prayers all across Kashmir and raise slogans in favor of seeking the bodies of Afzal and Maqbool back to Valley,” the statement reads.
While condemning the random arrests of people and slapping of Public Safety Act on youth, MMM has stated that such tactics can’t take a Kashmiri away from its goal. “There is a need for online protests. People are requested to like our page that we have created on social networking service Facebook namely “Return the bodies of Shaheed Afzal and Shaheed Maqbool” and tell the whole world what we people want. People should register online protests and follow the programme of MMM earnestly,” the statement reads.
