Lok Bhavan J&K Celebrates Sikkim Statehood Day in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: In a largely attended press conference here in Srinagar today, organised by  many startling revelations and allegations especially against the separatist camp were made. Er. Rashid in a very energetic tenor alleged the separatist camp especially the constituent parties of Hurriyat M of secretly preparing for 2014 elections in J&K including fielding of proxy candidates. Rashid while addressing the press conference said that the separatist leaders particularly Bilal Gani lone and Professor Abdul Gani Bhat, both executive members of the Hurriyat Conference were preparing for the election behind the curtains and had already sent in many proxy candidates in the municipal elections recently held in J&K. Rashid lamented that he was personally not against elections but the kind of activities that they were getting into (including pseudo boycott and resistance of elections and mainstream politics) was as good as cheating and back stabbing the nation and the near million pious martyrs that Kashmir has rendered towards its struggle for existence over the last 5 decades. While displaying a cd from the yesterday’s rally of Chairman of Peoples Conference Bilal Gani Lone in Langate, Rashid said that most of the people present in the rally were either their polling agents, sarpanchs or had recently contested the local body polls unsuccessfully and even furnished their personal details including residence, names and other such details further validating his claims. The cd ended on a funny note wherein Bilal Lone whilst addressing the people asked his men regarding the number of years since his father’s death. The conference was mainly manifested and aimed at exposing the Bilal Lone, Professor Gani and Sajad Lone who as per him share common aims, agendas and were in a repugnant political nexus with each other. Er. Rashid lamented that they were being traitors and cheating the nation by politicizing people against the mainstream leadership and on the other hand also preparing and fielding their proxies in the elections. Rashid has asked the separatist leadership to make their policies clear regarding the elections. He said that on one side they give calls to boycott the elections while as on the other hand they are secretly gathering the mandate from the people for the coming elections. (KMW NEWS)
