Mirwaiz, others visit War House

Srinagar: It was a busy day at War House, the ancestral residence of Hilal Ahmed War (Chairman Peoples Political Party), when many prominent pro-freedom leaders visited his residence to felicitate him on the eve of his marriage ceremony.
Hurriyat (M), Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq accompanied by his entourage was the first senior leader to visit the War House today. Mirwaiz highlighted the sacrifices rendered by War’s family and the historical importance of Maisuma. Mirwaiz gifted a traditional Kashmiri shawl to War as a mark of religious blessings.
Senior resistance leaders Shabir Shah, Javed Mir and Nayeem Khan too dropped in at War’s residence. The senior leaders recounted the numerous services rendered to Kashmir cause by the War family. (KMW NEWS)
