The United Nations says more than seven million Pakistanis are still without shelter nearly 100 days after devastating floods hit the country.
The UN says almost two million homes were either destroyed or damaged by the floods.
“At least seven million people are currently without shelter in the flood-affected areas,” UN spokeswoman Stacey Winston told a news conference in Islamabad.
The world body says 14 million people are in need of immediate humanitarian help.
This is while the UN has launched several appeals for funding the aid initiative to help the victims of the worst natural disaster in Pakistan’s history.
