Srinagar: Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad, was celebrated throughout the Kashmir valley and Ladakh region with full reverence, devotion, religious fervour and gaiety today.

Despite severe cold due to snowfall, night-long special prayers were held in mosques, khankhas, Jamia Masjids and other shrines in the Valley and Ladakh region.
