Masood murder: CBI seeks to re-examine Zahida, Saba

Indore, MP: The CBI has sought permission from the special CBI court here to re-examine main accused Zahida Parvez and co-accused Saba Farooqui in the RTI activist Shehla Masood murder case.

In an application to Special CBI Judge Anupam Srivastava, the CBI has submitted a request to re-examine the two over certain objectionable materials and a handkerchief found from Zahida’s possession.

Their re-examination by the CBI could spell trouble for BJP MLA Dhruv Narayan Singh, who is alleged to having had an affair with Zahida.

Defence counsel Sunil Srivastava has objected to the CBI’s plea as a charge sheet has already been submitted.
