Malik Yaqoob takes oath as Mayor Pampore Municipal Committee

In an impressive function held today on 31 October, 2022 after winning the Chairman / Mayor elections for Pampore Municipal Committee Malik Yaqoob took oath as its chairman.

The oath ceremony was an impressive attended by scores of people from different walks of life.

Speaking on occasion Malik Yaqoob affirmed:” BJP is my mother. Through my tenure as chairman since few years we have executed projects worth 30 crore including macdamisation of roads, building clock tower and Slaughter house . We are on path of making Pampore a symbol of progress. Both NC, PDP and congress had grossly neglected Pampore town. My focus is be it Pampore town or villages they should be booming with development.”
Malik Yaqoob reflected that be it apple industry or saffron they are facing issues and in the past 30 years of militancy the every house of Kashmir has experienced wounds.
Malik Yaqoob urged that he would look for compensation for saffron and apple growers, and waiver of electricity fees for poor.

Malik Yaqoob observed that dumping site issue facing Pampore would be resolved soon and whosoever hinders the work on it will be dealt sternly.

Malik Yaqoob asserted on the Municipal Committee Pampore employees and Counsellors to make Pampore town the most cleanest town of Jammu and Kashmir.
