Major reshuffle in J&K police, 87 officials transferred

JAMMU: The State Cabinet, which met here this evening under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah, ordered the following transfers in police department.

1. Ram Lubhaya,IPS, (JK:85) Addl. DG Police, awaiting orders of adjustment is posted as ADGP, Home Guards/Civil Defence & Aux Police. 2.  .Gopal Reddy, IPS, (JK: 85) Addl. DG Police awaiting orders of adjustment is posted as Addl. DG Police, Civil Military Liaison and Internal Security in the Home Department. 3. Dilbagh Singh, IPS, (JK:87),  Director, SKPA, Udhampur  is transferred and posted as IGP, Jammu Zone vice Shri A.K.Gupta, IPS. 4. A.K.Gupta, IPS (JK: 87) IGP, Jammu Zone is transferred and posted as Director, SKPA, Udhampur vice Shri Dilbagh Singh. 5. Deepak Kumar, IPS (JK:93) presently on training is posted as IGP, Vigilance.6.  Gulzar Singh Slathia,IPS (JK:93), DIG, Udhampur-Reasi Range is transferred and posted as IG in the J&K State Human Rights Commission. 7.Abdul Qayoom Manhas, IPS (JK: 94) DIG, Traffic, Kashmir is transferred and posted as DIG, Trainings, Armed Police Headquarters. 8.  S.D.Singh, IPS ( JK:95) DIG, Poonch-Rajouri Range is transferred and posted as Joint Director, SKPA, Udhampur vice Shri Sham Lal. 9.  Rajesh Kumar, IPS (JK: 95) Director, SSG, is transferred and posted as DIG, Poonch-Rajouri Range vice Shri S.D.Singh. 10. No. 6) above shall work at their new places of postings  in their own pay and grade till their promotion to the Super Time Scale (IGP) in the Pay Band-4  of  Rs. 37,400-67,000 with Grade Pay of  Rs. 10,000/- w.e.f. 1st January, 2011. (ii) Officers at S. Nos 14 to 17 shall work at their new places of postings in their own pay and grade till their promotion to the Super Time Scale (DIG) in the Pay Band-4 of Rs. 37,400-67,000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8900 w.e.f. 1st January 2011. (iii)  Officers at S. Nos. 29 to 32 shall work at their new places of postings in their own pay and grade till their promotion to the Senior Time  Scale of IPS in the Pay Band-3 of Rs.15600- 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- w.e.f. 1st January, 2011.
