Srinagar, November 29: The series of ugly traffic jams throughout the day in the historic Maisuma area of the Srinagar city is causing much pain to the residents of the area, and also the commuters and pedestrians.

The residents and the Maisuma Behbood Committee have expressed deep concern that these traffic jams with frequent intensity at Maisuma Red Cross road is causing much obstacles to the people .

It has been described the utter failure of Departments like Traffic Department to regulate the traffic on the historic Maisuma Red Cross road causing many hardships to the people.

There are specific areas in Srinagar where citizens find it hard to spot traffic police personnel. According to residents of Maisuma Red Cross road are amongst the many areas where there are frequent traffic jams but not enough traffic police to manage the fiasco.
