Legislators meet J&K Governor

JAMMU, MARCH 1: Mr. M.Y. Tarigami, MLA Kulgam and Mr. Hakim Mohammad Yaseen, MLA Khansahib had separate meetings with Governor N.N. Vohra at the Civil Secretariat here today.
Mr. Tarigami urged the Governor to take up the issue of inclusion of towns of Kulgam, Bandipora and Reasi in the select list of cities and towns covered under first phase of “Housing For All” Urban Mission launched under Prime Ministers Awas Yojna.
Mr. Yaseen demanded funds for Sukhnag Mini Hydel Project and Shali Ganga Power project; enhancement in ration quota under NFSA; construction of mini stadium at Kral Pathri; early completion of Kangripora and Sail Bridges and boost to tourism activities in Dodhpathri and Tosamaidan areas of his constituency.
The Governor urged the legislators to continue sustained efforts for promoting development and the people’s welfare in their respective constituencies.

Parvez Dewan to meet deputations at Srinagar
JAMMU, MARCH 01: Mr Parvez Dewan, Advisor to Governor will be receiving individual applicants and deputations at PWD Guest House, Peerbagh, Srinagar every Wednesday, except gazetted holidays, and when indicated otherwise.
In this regard the first public hearing is being convened by the Advisor on 2 March 2016 from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm at the said venue.
