Lady dies, 07 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar December, 03: A lady died while seven others were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
In Srinagar, a Wagon-R car bearing registration number JK01S/1748 hit and injured an old lady identified as Azi resident of Doodh Mohallah on Fore-Shore road near Doodh Mohallah crossing, Nishat. The injured was shifted to JVC Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard.
In Anantnag, a Wagnor-R car bearing registration number JK03D/4412 met with an accident on Mattan Kheribal road, resulting in injuries to its driver. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, a vehicle bearing registration number JK03C/3784 driven by Ghulam Mohammad Wani resident of Mantipora Chittergul hit and injured a policeman identified as Javaid Ahmad of Police Station Achabal near Achabal Chowk. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Anantnag police has registered cases regarding these accident.
In Awantipora, an Auto Rickshaw bearing registration number JK13C/5169 met with an accident at Kanjinagh, resulting in injuries to five persons. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Awantipora police has registered a case in this regard.
