Anantnag, May 11: In a major encounter it is learnt that three Militants Killed in South Kashmir’s Anantnag Gunfight Rages between Militants and Security Forces on Tuesday morning.
As per reports during a search operation launched by a joint team of police and security forces on specific inputs about the presence of militants in Vailoo Kokernag Area of South kashmir’s Anantnag, encounter had ensued after militants fired upon joint team in the area.
Earlier, on basis of specific intel about the presence of militants in the area, a joint team of Police, Army’s 19 RR and CRPF launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO. Amid the operation militants opened fire upon the security forces which was retaliated, triggering off the gun-battle.
Reports are coming the militants are newly recruited locals of Kashmir valley.
