Baramulla: Government has not completed the probe into the killing of Baramulla youth Tahir Ahmed Sofi yet. Sub Divisional Magistrate Sopore Manzoor Ahmed Qadri told that the probe into the killing is going on and the statements of the witnesses are being recorded.
“We have recorded the statements of the witnesses but have not completed the probe yet. We are in touch with Army which is also conducting an independent probe into the killing of Baramullah youth Tahir Ahmed Sofi,” SDM, Sopore said.
He however refused to divulge the information about the progress that has been taken place in the case. “I can’t tell you where we have reached and can’t give you the actual date of submission of this report. But, one thing is sure that we are soon going to submit our report,” Qadri said.
