Islamabad, Apr 21: AJK President Sardar Masood Khan says Pakistani media has the ingenuity and sophistication to depict and project the country in its true perspective.
Addressing a media workshop at National Defence University in Islamabad on Friday, he said it is imperative in view of the fact that India is using dexterity of its media prowess to project Pakistan as a state sponsoring terrorism and fueling extremism.
The AJK President said media’s role becomes crucial not only because of India factor but also because Pakistan has opted to be a major nation in the comity of nations.
Referring to CPEC, he said Pakistan would be both a conduit and a destination for commerce, industry and services.
He pointed out that Kashmiris in Kashmir are most unarmed on the earth yet Indian media is trying to depict them as militants and terrorists.
