Kashmiris are not Dumb driven cattle’s: Javid Mir

SRINAGAR: While addressing a mammoth gathering at Anantnag, the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (Haqeeqi) Chairman Javid Ahmad Mir has stated that “Kashmir issue “cannot be kept in cold storage for long and has criticized the Indian state for human rights abuses. Javid Mir while addressing gathering at Antanag expressed disgust that Kunan Poshpora rape victims have not got justice even after two decades and called upon the Indian Government to fulfill its promise of conducting plebiscite in Kashmir.

On the occasion, he expressed solidarity with the rape victims of Kunan Poshpora and victims of other innumerable human rights abuses and appealed to masses not to surrender before Indian state until liberation is achieved.
He expressed deep anguish that even after 21 years of shameful rape incident at Kunan Poshpora the committee of enquiry that was formed under supervision of that times Divisional commissioner Wajahat Habibullah to look into the matter has not submitted its report and no army men has been punished . Javid Mir stated that people of kashmir have awoken and cannot be driven like cattle and he appealed to international community that it needs to play a role in solving this. (KMW NEWS)
