In a statement issued here, Inqilabi paid glowing tributes to all martyrs of Kashmir. “Every Kashmir martyr is a beacon light for us. Martyrdom of Maqbool Malik provided a way for change in strategy of the movement for its good.”
He said martyrs are identity of this nation. “World remembers Kashmir as a brave nation only because of them.”
Inqilabi said Pakistan’s “water and barter K-policy” has emboldened Indian leadership and its troops are perpetuating human rights violations in Kashmir.
He said this policy is bound to fail as it will further status-quo in Kashmir. “Kashmir youth are ready to tread on dangerous course to break the logjam on Kashmir.”
MeA patron said Pakistan has kept Kashmir issue alive on political, diplomatic and militant front.
“But it is also true that Pakistan through Jan.5 1949 UNCIP resolutions dented our position as stakeholder in the dispute. Through this Kashmir literary became a border dispute between India & Pakistan,” he said.
He said it resulted in India becoming “more stubborn” on Kashmir front.
Inqilabi said UNCIP resolution of Aug.13, 1948 guarantee our position as prime party to the dispute.
“Those who stress on tripartite talks as way to resolve Kashmir issue should stress on this resolution. It guarantees us unfettered right of self-determination,” he added.
He said Kashmir is not a border dispute between India and Pakistan but the issue involving future of 15 million people of J&K.
“Kashmir issue can’t be solved bilaterally between India & Pakistan. It will only get resolved through tripartite talks involving Kashmiris as well,” the press statement reads.
He said Kashmir leaders should prepare a clear cut road map before such talks.
Inqilabi appealed Syed Salahudin, Amanullah Khan, Justice Majeed Malik, Abdur Rasheed Turabi, Sardar Ateeq Ahmad Khan and other leaders to call for strike in Pakistan Administered Kashmir on August 13.
“These leaders should stress on importance of Aug.13, 1948 UNCIP resolutions on this day,” he added.
“Demolition of Berlin Wall (Loc) and installation of joint parliament in united-Kashmir will provide a way out for resolving Kashmir issue democratically and amicably,” Inqilabi said in the statement.
