Srinagar, Match 24: Kashmir is fast getting ugly tag of being land of bank robberies .
Bank robbery is the crime of stealing money from a bank, specifically while bank employees and customers are subjected to force, violence, or a threat of violence.
The often incident of bank loots or robbery in the Kashmir valley in recent times is raising many questions like is it due to increased poverty , an organised Syndicate or something unexplored.
Today only ,In another bank robbery incident around two lakh rupees were looted from the Central Kashmir Budgam’s J&K bank by robbers.

According to a police official, robbers carrying guns had fired in the air and later ran away with two lakh rupees from the J&K bank.

However, the police have initiated an investigation into the matter to nab the robbers behind the looting of a big amount of cash.
Officials just few days back said that the burglars looted cash from an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) of State Bank of India (SBI) besides six shops in south Kashmir district of Shopian during the night.

They said a group of burglars broke open the ATM at main town Shopian during the night.
Few months back , Suspected militants looted over sixty lakhs from a bank cash van in South Kashmir’s Shopian district Thursday morning. The cash belonged to Jammu and Kashmir Bank and the van was on its way to reload cash in the ATMs.

There have been number of other robbery cases occuring in banks in Kashmir in recent times , and these incidents have seen a spurt .

The public pulse is eager to know that what is the real reason behind these increased robberies in the Kashmir valley.
