Srinagar, May 01: Jammu and Kashmir Young Journalist Association (JKYJA) in an important meet has decided to put on hold the protest against internet ban in Kashmir that was scheduled on May 2 Tuesday as internet services have resumed on number of networks.
A press communiqué of JKYJA stated that it is hopeful that unnecessary blockade on Social media too is lifted soon and internet resumed on all the networks.
Pertinently during its meet on Saturday at JKYJA office, during which the participants termed the continuous internet blockade as an attack on very basic right to live. JKYJA stated that E Curfew amounts an attack on bread and butter of many.
JKYJA made it clear that if the blockade on social media is not lifted and internet services not restored on all networks it will soon chart out a programme in this regard.
