JKYJA holds extraordinary session, executive reframed

Srinagar, Jun 13: The Jammu and Kashmir Young Journalist Association (JKYJA) in an extraordinary session welcomed new members to its fold.

Pertinent, one day long conclave of Jammu and Kashmir Young Journalist Association was presided by its president Ajaz Ahmad War.

Bilal Bashir Bhat, General Secretary threw light on the different aspects of JKYJA working over the years.

Chief Spokesperson Rameez Makhdoomi welcomed the new Executive Members into the fold and hoped that JKYJA would raise the voice of young journalists.

On the occasion, prominent TV Debaters, Writers, Journalists joined the JKYJA including Peer Viqar Ul Aslam, Bilal Ahmad Bhat, Beenish Parray, Umar Bhat, Mir Imran Adil Salam, Javaid Ahmad Khan and others.

According to the decisions taken today, Ajaz Ahmad War would continue as President, Bilal Furqani as Vice President, Bilal Bashir Bhat would be now General Secretary, Majid Kapra Organizer, Rameez Makdhoomi Chief Spokesman, Peer Viqar ul Aslam would be now Publicity Incharge, Bilal Ahmad Bhat would be Coordinator, Beenish Parray would be looking after woman affairs, Umar Bhat Social Media In charge, Mir Imran Office Incharge, and Javaid Ahmad Khan Treasurer.

The new executive members vowed to work on diverse fronts to see that Youngsters overcome the different forms of hardships faced by Journalists.

JKYJA affirmed to take up all the burning issues faced by the Journalists in Jammu and Kashmir and work for the betterment of the media fraternity.

JKYJA expressed anguish that scores of Journalists, photo Journalists, editors on Newspapers are in Jammu and Kashmir facing quite tough time.
