JK reports 540 new positive cases, 437708 recovered

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 11: The Government today informed that 540 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 312 from Jammu division and 228 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 449873. Also, 02 Covid deaths have been reported Kashmir division.

Moreover, 1626 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 682 from Jammu Division and 944 from Kashmir Division.

On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 52,605 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,10,39,088.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 449873 positive cases, 7424 are Active Positive (2918 in Jammu Division and 4506 in Kashmir Division), 437708 have recovered and 4741 have died; 2320 in Jammu division and 2421 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 22211046 test results available, 449873 samples have tested positive and 21761173 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 75291 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.

Till date 5940063 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 29753 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 7424 in isolation and 440839 in home surveillance. Besides, 5457306 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported today, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 89 cases, Baramulla reported 29 cases, Budgam reported 32 cases, Pulwama reported 12 cases, Kupwara reported 26 cases, Anantnag reported 07 cases, Bandipora reported 07 cases, Ganderbal reported 15 cases, Kulgam reported 06 cases while as Shopian reported 05 fresh cases for today.

Similarly, Jammu reported 131 cases, Reasi reported 12 cases for today, Udhampur reported 22 cases, Rajouri reported 09 cases, Doda reported 61 cases, Kathua reported 27 cases, Samba reported 07 cases, Poonch reported 06 cases, Kishtwar reported one case while as Ramban reported 36 fresh cases for today.
