JK reports 33 new positive cases, 448006 recovered, 2,15,64,224 Covid doses administered so far

SRINAGAR, MARCH 04: The Government today informed that 33 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 15 from Jammu division and 18 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 453167.Also, 01 Covid-19 death has been reported from Jammu division.

Moreover, 83 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 60from Jammu Division and23 from Kashmir Division.

The Bulletin also informs that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.

On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 15,629doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to2,15,64,224.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 453167 positive cases, 412are Active Positive (218in Jammu Division and 194in Kashmir Division), 448006 have recovered and 4749 have died; 2326 in Jammu division and 2423in Kashmir division.

Till date 6159017 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 32856 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 412 in isolation and 451419 in home surveillance. Besides, 5669581 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported today, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 09 cases, Baramulla reported 04 cases, Pulwama reported 02 cases, Kupwara reported 02 cases, Bandipora reported 01case while as Budgam, Anantnag, Ganderbal, Kulgam and Shopian reported no fresh cases for today.

Similarly, Jammu reported 12 cases, Doda reported 02 cases, Kishtwar reported 01case while as while as Udhampur, Rajouri, Kathua, Samba, Poonch, Ramban and Reasi reported no fresh cases for today.
