JK reports 185 new positive cases, 310985 recovered so far

SRINAGAR, JULY 10: The Government on Saturday informed that 185 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 74 from Jammu division and 111 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 318469. Also 02 COVID-19 death has been reported, 01 from Jammu division and01 from Kashmir Division.

Moreover, 355 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 104 from Jammu Division and 251from Kashmir Division.

Besides this, 97.74 percent of population above the age of 45 years has been vaccinated across the Jammu and Kashmir.

The Bulletin also informs that No confirmed case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 31 in the UT of J&K.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 318469 positive cases, 3128 are Active Positive, 310985 have recovered and 4356 have died; 2126 in Jammu division and 2230 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 10560499 test results available, 10242030 samples have been tested as negative till today.

Till date 2539145 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 7051 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 3128 in isolation and 270781 in home surveillance. Besides, 2253829 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 70610 positive cases (including 41 cases reported today) with 607 Active Positive, 69171 recovered (including 83 cases recovered today), 832 deaths; Baramulla has 23386 positive cases (including 04 cases reported today) with 190 Active Positive, 22916 recovered (including 32 cases recovered today), 280 deaths; Budgam reported 22724 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today) with 161 active positive cases, 22359 recovered (including 31 cases recovered today), 204 deaths; Pulwama has 15010 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today) with 113 Active Positive, 14704 recovered (including 19 cases recovered today) and 193 deaths; Kupwara has 13939 positive cases (including 15 cases reported today), 146 Active Positive, 13628 recoveries (including 29 cases recovered today), 165 deaths;  Anantnag district has 16223 positive cases (including 06 cases reported today) with 94 Active Positive, 15925 recovered (including 03 cases recovered today), 204 deaths;  Bandipora has 9374 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today), with 75 Active Positive, 9199 recoveries (including 08 cases recovered today), 100 deaths; Ganderbal has 9732 positive cases (including 13 cases reported today) with 156 Active Positive, 9499 recoveries (including 20 cases recovered today) and 77 deaths; Kulgam has 11172 positive cases (including 03 cases reported today) with 117 Active Positive, 10938 recoveries (including 23 cases recovered today) and 117 deaths while as Shopian has 5567 positive cases (including 02 cases recovered today) with 09 active positive cases, 5500recoveries (including 03 cases recovered today)and 58 deaths.

Similarly, Jammu has 52548 positive cases (including 22 cases reported today) with 449 active positive cases, 50961 recoveries (including 06 cases recovered today), 1138 deaths; Udhampur has 11229 positive cases (including 03 cases recovered today), 57 active positive cases, 11040 recoveries (including 03 cases recovered today) and 132 deaths; Rajouri has 10798 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today) with 92 active positive, 10484 recoveries (including 10 cases recovered today) and 222 deaths; Doda has 7041 positive cases (including 16 cases reported today) with 223 Active positive, 6697 recovered (including 38 cases recovered today) and 121 deaths; Kathua has 9232 positive cases (including 04 cases reported today) with 14 active positive cases, 9069 recovered (including 04 cases recovered today)and 149 deaths; Samba has 7097 positive cases (including 01 cases recovered today) with 48 active positive cases, 6930 recoveries (including 06 cases recovered today)and 119 deaths; Kishtwar has 4552 positive cases (including 09 cases reported today) with 83 Active Positive, 4426 recoveries (including 14 cases recovered today)  and 43 deaths;  Poonch has 6169 positive cases (including 03 cases reported today) with 122 active positive, 5953 recoveries (including 13 cases recovered today)  and 94 deaths;  Ramban has 5906 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 75 active positive cases, 5766 recoveries (including 10 cases recovered today)and 65 deaths while Reasi has 6160 positive caseswith 297 active positive cases, 5820recoveries and 43 deaths.
