Srinagar: April 29(KMW): Jammu and Kashmir People’s Political Party (PPP) today appointed Syed Manzoor Ahmad Shah as its Head for Aazad Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistan Chapter.
In an official handout the PPP Chief, Engineer Hilal Ahmed War, said Mr. Shah is a man of great integrity and caliber. “Manzoor Ahmad Shah commands the respect of all the resistance leaders across the board,†said War adding, “With his appointment as PPP Head for AJK and Pakistan Chapter, I’m convinced he will play a much greater and significant role in taking the Kashmir cause towards its conclusion.†The PPP Chief said one of the major responsibilities of Mr. Shah would be to mobilize the global community and reach out to them with the party roadmap and work towards the implementation of its points.
“Since the constitution of PPP has empowered the Chairman to open new Chapter(s) of the party and to nominate heads of the Chapter(s), therefore a resolution has been passed in this regard,†reads the handout.
