JAMMU, May 26: Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam is likely to be shifted from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for posting at an important assignment at the Centre.
Subrahmanyam will next month complete three years as the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir. He had taken over as the Chief Secretary on June 23, 2018.
Authoritative sources told the Excelsior that several names are under consideration for posting as new Chief Secretary in Jammu and Kashmir by the Central Government.
Subrahmanyam is 1987 batch IAS officer of Chhattisgarh cadre.
