Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir government today denied reports that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will now hold additional charge of Housing and Urban Development Ministry, which is currently under his deputy Tara Chand.
“It is totally false,” an official spokesperson said, denying local media reports claiming change of portfolio for the senior Congress leader.
Acoording to local reports Abdullah took over the ministry from Chand because many housing and urban development projects were lagging.
“The news item is nothing but a figment of imagination… it is totally baseless and not based on the facts,” he added.
