J&K Education minister’s son cheated in Matriculation Examination ? Omar seeks reply

JAMMU: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has taken cognizance of the news item published in a local daily alleging use of unfair means to benefit the son of School Education Minister Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed and the alleged involvement of BOSE officials in a cover up operation.

The Chief Minister asked the School Education Minister to see him to explain the facts in this matter. The file submitted to the Chief Minister by the School Education Minister has been sent to the Crime Branch of J&K Police who have been told to complete their inquiry within seven working days.
Any further action will be determined by the findings of the Crime Branch. (KMW News)
