Srinagar, April 1(KMW): J&K Bank gave a warm send off to Abdul Rauf Bhat on Friday, who retired as the Bank’s Executive President.
Chairman and CEO Parvez Ahmed along with Executive Presidents, Presidents, Vice-presidents and other senior officers of the Bank attended the farewell.
Joining the Bank in 1982 as Probationary Officer, Rauf held various positions in the bank & had a wide range of experience in banking like HR, S&C, Communications, Risk Management & technology. He served the Bank for last thirty-five years.
While hailing Rauf for his dedication towards the bank, Chairman Parvez Ahmed said, “He has been the most patient listener of the bank with varied capabilities and ensured accessibility to the cadres of the bank and the general public all throughout his career.” The chairman while commending the contribution of Rauf Bhat towards the bank wished him all peace, progress and prosperity with good health post his retirement.”
Extending gratitude to his colleagues and friends in the Bank, Rauf said, “I feel overwhelmed by the love and respect I have got from my colleagues and customers throughout my career here. I thank all of you for your kindness, support, and a wonderful Thirty Five years.”
