Srinagar, March 17: Anti Corruption Bureau arrested Javid Ahmad Raina, M.R/Tech-III PDD Department S/O Mohammad Yousuf Raina R/O Gund Pora, Rampora Bandipora while demanding and accepting bribe of ₹6500.

2.Earlier a complaint was received from the complainant, alleging demand of bribe by PDD employee, for providing electricity connection. Accordingly, a Case FIR No. 06/2024 U/S 7 of PC Act 1988 was registered with PS ACB Srinagar and investigation taken up.

3.During the course of investigation, a trap team was constituted for laying trap for the accused public servant. The team laid a successful trap and arrested PDD official red-handed while demanding and accepting bribe of ₹6500 from the complainant.
