Srinagar, Feb 14 : Claiming that the militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has been wiped out in the Kashmir valley, a senior Army said strong intelligence network has helped to foil almost all infiltration bids from across the Line of Control (LoC).
Following the killing of its chief Adil Pathan in November last year, the JeM outfit has been wiped out in the valley, Lt Gen Satish Dua, GOC of Srinagar-based 15 Corps told reporters here after paying tributes to two soldiers who laid down their lives during a fierce encounter in the District Kupwara Yesterday.
He maintained that strong intelligence inputs numbering more than 600 have resulted in foiling of scores of infiltration bids.
