Srinagar, December 12: In a major success against the terror network, J&K Police in Awantipora along with security forces arrested a terrorist associate involved in supporting terror.
Acting on credible input about movement of one suspect at Naner Midoora, J&K Police in Awantipora, alongwith with 42 RR and 180 BN CRPF, launched a joint search operation in the area. During the search, one terrorist associate identified as Musaib Nazir Son of Nazir Ahmad Teli resident of Ladhoo Khrew associated with JeM was apprehended and a grenade was recovered from his possession. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 257/2025 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Awantipora, and further investigation has been initiated.
