Srinagar: Chief of Task Force to highlight Kashmir issue by Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf and former Pakistan Foreign Minister, Congress Senior leader and Member Parliament Mani Shanker Aiyar, senior vice president of Awami National Conference Muzaffar Shah addressed a meeting at Kolkata recently while O P Shah was the convener of the meeting. Referring to Kashmir issue, Muzaffar Shah said that it is clear Kashmir is the main reason of tension between India and Pakistan. He said that Awami National Conference is trying hard to conduct an Intra-Kashmir conference for India and Pakistan can move forward only after wishes of people of all five regions—Kashmir, Jammu, Ladakh, Muzaffarabad and Gilgit are taken into consideration. To hold intra-Kashmir Conference is very imperative in this regard, he said. He called upon the leadership of both countries to facilitate the intra-Kashmir conference. The former Pakistan foreign Secretary assured Muzaffar Shah that he will always respect the proposal with regard to resolution of Kashmir is
sue. Muzaffar Shah also hailed the efforts with regard to Kashmir by Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf. He said that first meeting of Intra-Kashmir conference will be held wither in Jammu or Srinagar and in this regard, Awami National Conference will soon send a delegation to Pakistan.
