Srinagar, (KMW News): Chairman Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Geelani while reiterating his complete shutdown call on 30th May in District Shopian on 4thmartyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Asiya and Neelofar said that nation striving for noble mission never forget sacrifices presented and added that said incident was a grave crime against the joint conscience of people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Syed Ali Geelani Wednesday said that some influential persons ,hidden hands and agencies are providing shelter and support to tainted peer Gulzar Ahmad and added that not only the swindler but the parents of those girls are equally responsible who without any sense and assessment admitted their wards in his so called religious institution. Syed Ali Geelani expressed his serious concern that some state agencies and influential persons in a bid to save fake peer and to hush-up the infamous sex scandal are providing him every possible support. We will confront it tooth and nail declared Syed Ali Geelani and added that it is matter of serious concern for us that instead of following the fundamentals of Islam ,Muslims are indifferent towards their true faith and follow self made rituals and believe superstitions.
It is ridiculous that people follow their self made faith and hand over their wards to these tainted peers and quacks added Syed Ali Geelani .While rejecting the claims that the case relates to any particular sector school of thought, Syed Ali Geelani disagreed with the idea and said that it has nothing to do with any particular person, sect or thought. Pro freedom leader in his statement added that agencies in state are providing support and promoting the waywardness and added the close affiliations and nexus between the state sponsored clerics and bureaucrats prove that the matter is serious enough and not only our faith but present freedom movement is prime target for these wicked forces.
In his statement Syed Ali Geelani was categorical that people are aware about and know the funds are being provided and targets fixed and added that the unholy nexus between bureaucrats, tainted clerics and other hidden hands that plot conspiracies are known to everyone. Urging stern and stringent action against the fake faith healer and his aides, Syed Ali Geelani said that “we will be left with no option if the case is shelved or tainted peer given clean chit and added that we belong to the pious land of saintly persons and if and when needed we would exhibit our valour if the person involved in immoral activities is not punished for his misdeeds or let free.
Rejecting the misconceptions and intentions of some sections that a particular school of thought or any sect is being targeted, Syed Ali Geelani added that it is baseless and amounts to treason and added that fake faith healer is a cheat and belongs none of the sections. Hailing the prominent dignitaries, religious preachers, Syed Ali Geelani said that the initiatives and the concrete steps to supervise the proceedings of case are welcome step and most encouraging. We are with them and People affiliated with moment would provide all moral support to those who are well wishers and dedicated to eradicate immorality from society.
