Dr. Rubia Bukhari delivered a detailed PowerPoint presentation, emphasizing the transformative potential of the sericulture industry and her vision behind the Cocoon Artistry Initiative. As part of the program, a Mulberry Tree Plantation Drive was organized. Over 1,500 mulberry saplings were planted in the border villages of Sohala and Panjani, located just one kilometer from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and ahead of the Anti-Infiltration Obstacle System (AIOS). Despite the challenges posed by this sensitive geographical location, the initiative symbolizes growth, environmental conservation and the promotion of sustainable practices in the region.
