India, Pakistan trade fire on border in R S Pura

JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 04: Pakistan Rangers and Border Security Force (BSF) men exchanged gunfire early Friday in R.S. Pura sector of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

A police officer accused the Rangers of “unprovoked” shelling and firing at Tube Well 5 border outpost of the BSF at 2:10 am.
BSF men, he said, retaliated effectively.
The exchange of fire was on in the area at 8am today morning.
