NEW DELHI: Two-day secretary level talks between India and Pakistan have started in New Delhi with special focus on boosting trade between the two countries, KMW News reported Monday.
Commerce Secretary Zafar Mehmood is leading a Pakistani delegation while Indian Secretary Commerce Rahul Khullar is leading the Indian side.
The trade and commerce officials of India and Pakistan would discuss various issues related to trade and commerce along with finding out ways for boosting bilateral trade.
“The issues to be discussed in the meeting would include removal of non-tariff barriers, granting of Most Favored Nations (MFN) status to India and positive and negative lists for trade,” a Pakistani commerce official told on Sunday.
