Implement Rehber-e-Khel : Kashmir Physical Education Professionals

Srinagar, July 22 (KMW): Jammu & Kashmir Unemployed Physical education and Sports Teachers Union lodged a strong protest today at Partap Park Srinagar Lalachowk. The Protest and Sit –In was participated by scores of Physical Education Degree Holders who demanded immediate implementation of Rehber-e-Khel to accommodate the Physical education professionals on the lines of Rehber-e-Taliim. The protesters also demanded immediate implementation of RK scheme to end the menace of unemployment of Physical Education Professionals in Jammu& Kashmir.

Hilal Ahmad Rather, the spokesperson Jammu & Kashmir Unemployed Physical Education and sports Teachers Union Stated – “ We have assembled here to press for genuine demands as there are thousands of unemployed Physical Education Professionals in the Jammu& Kashmir State craving for meaningful employment opportunities and for this the State Government should wake up and implement Rehber-e-Khel.”
“Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is himself a sportsman of par excellence and he can well understand the value of Physical Education in societal development so he should with immediate effect implement Rehber-e-Khel and thus engage 40000 odd physical education professionals of our state in meaningful employment opportunities. Despite Physical Education being the prime focus of recently passed Central Budget we in Jammu& Kashmir have scores of unemployed Physical Education Professionals in our state,” added Hilal Ahmad Rather.(KMW)
