IMHANS-K, Kashmir University launch one-year PG diploma in addiction psychology

Srinagar, May 28: The Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (IMHANS), Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, in collaboration with the Department of Psychology, University of Kashmir, has launched a one-year postgraduate diploma program in Addiction Psychology and Rehabilitation Counseling.

Only a limited number of institutes in India currently offer specialized courses in the field of addiction and rehabilitation, making this initiative a significant step forward in addressing the region’s growing mental health needs. This is the first full-time academic program of its kind in J&K UT.
