Hurriyat Delegation to leave for Pakistan on Friday

Srinagar: With suspicion looming large over the issuance of passport to two of its executive members, Hurriyat Conference (M) is leaving for Pakistan on Friday. The amalgam would be however holding its last round of consultation round on Wednesday. Regional Passport Officer at Srinagar told Monday evening that two more executive members Molvi Abbas Ansari and Musadiq Aadil were issued passports on Monday whereas the application of another executive member Mukhtar Ahmad Waza was still under process.

The delegation would be traveling to Pakistan for a week during which they will be holding talks with Pakistan Prime Minster Raja Parvaiz Ashraf, Foreign Minister Hina Rabani Khar, Mian Manzoor Watoo, Mian Nawaz Shareef, Imran Khan and other leaders.
Meanwhile senior separatist leader Shabir Ahmad Shah is understood to have applied for the travel documents for traveling through Line of Control.
Hurriayt Conference (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq told that six of its executive members including Prof. Ab. Gani Bhat, Bilal Gani Lone, Molvi Abas Ansari, Aga Syed Hassan and Musadiq Adil have been issued passports whereas Passport for Mukhatar Ahmad Waza was still pending.
Waza however told that he had approached to the Regional Passport Office at Srinagar where he was told that his application has been forwarded to Delhi wherefrom it didn’t return as yet. He however has said that he has also applied for travel documents for Karwan e Aman.
Meanwhile Pakistan Foreign Spokesman Muazam Khan on Monday confirmed that hurriyat delegation was traveling to Pakistan during which they will be meeting top Pakistan leadership including Prime Minster.
