Hurriyat Conference (JK) Shura discusses to prepare Kashmir roadmap

Srinagar, Jan 19 (KMW): An important meeting of Majlis-e-Shura (Consultative body) of Hurriyat Conference (JK) was held at Inqilabi Manzil Nigeen, late Saturday afternoon.
Shabir Shah, Nayeem Khan, M. Yousuf Naqash, Shabir Dar and Mir Iqbal also participated in the meeting.
Addressing the Hurriyat meet, Chief Patron Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA) Muhammad Azam Inqilabi said MeA will use its full potential to strengthen the Shura system of the amalgam.
“It is imperative that other pro-active resistance organizations are invited to be members of this consultative body,” he said while addressing the meeting.
It is also important that the Hurriyat consultative body prepare a road map, in accordance with UN resolutions, for peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue, he added.
MeA patron said at a time when Pakistan is keen to improve business ties with India while Kashmiris continue to face India’s onslaught, Hurriyat leadership has to widen its intellectual horizon and engage international community.
“It is true valiant Pakistani nation has fought eight conventional and unconventional wars due to Kashmir dispute. But Pakistan’s leadership is ironically busy in showing contempt and disregard to its national heroes as an operation diversion,” he said.
Inqilabi said Pakistan played present day role of Ottoman Empire and has gained enough strategic advantage by facing eastern and western imperialists in north and south, which is enough for ‘liberation of Kashmir’.
He said Pakistan’s leadership should shun ‘apologetic and defeatist’ approach.
“Pakistan in league with China, Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and other friendly countries should create such situation on diplomatic front that India comes clean on Kashmir issue,” he said.
Inqilabi presented the detailed viewpoint of MeA before the conglomerate members about Kashmir issue.
“As a first step towards resolution Mahaz believes India and Pakistan should withdraw their troops from war-affected-areas of J&K and demands demolition of LoC and installation of a parliament in united-Kashmir,” he told the Shura meet.
He said the parliament under the principle of self-determination will decide whether to opt for Independence or to have administrative relation with India or Pakistan.
In the meeting copies of Inqilabi’s up-coming book ‘Mataai Hayat’ first chapter titled ‘Nigha buland sakhan dilnawaz jaan pur sooz’ was distributed.
The chapter deals with the way and attributes of ulmai deen and resistance leaders, importance of consultative process and association with movement and curbing egoistic behavior.
