Islamabad, Oct 10: Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mian Nawaz Sharif today said Pakistan’s desire to maintain International peace must not be misinterpreted as its weakness by India and asked India to halt firing across the LOC and International Border border known as Red Cliff Line in order to maintain peace in the region .Mr. Nawaz Sharif asked India to honour the cease-fire agreements and sanctity of Line of Control (LoC) as well as the International. “Any further escalation will only complicate the environment for meaningful dialogue on the Kashmir issue and adversely affect the broader objective of regional cooperation,” said Mr. Sharif.
