HM militant killed in Doda

Jammu: Security forces today gunned down a Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) militant in mountainous Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Based on a tip-off regarding movement of the Hizb militant in a remote area of Marmat in Doda district, police and the army launched a joint operation during wee hours,” official sources here told.
On seeing a patrol party, the militant opened fire which was retaliated and in exchange of bullets, he was gunned down, they said.
“The slain militant was identified as Azad Hussain Wani,” sources said and added that the search operation was in progress.
