Srinagar: Security forces claimed to have arrested a Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) conduit alongwith a grenade and Rs 90,000 hawala money from Tral area in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, a police spokesman said here this afternoon.
He said Police and 42 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) established nakas at Pinglish and Rathsoona in Pulwama district following a tip-off about movement of HM conduit.
A person, found moving in suspicious circumstances, was asked to stop at one of the naka at Pinglish crossing.
During his frisking, a live Chinese grenade, Rs 90,000 hawala money and a letter pad of HM was recovered from his possession.
He was identified as Mudasir Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Rehman Resident of Frisal Kulgam.
