Srinagar: Welcoming the upcoming Foreign Minister talks between India and Pakistan in Islamabad, Jammu and Kashmir People’s Political Party (PPP), Chairman, Hilal Ahmad War has urged India and Pakistan to resolve Kashmir issue without any further delay in order to avert any likelihood of Nuclear Confrontation and to pave the way for permanent peace in South Asia. PPP Chief reiterating his party stand that while resolving Kashmir Issue the role of India and Pakistan is the role of cooperation only the role of adjudication and final settlement lies with the common man of Kashmir. He further said no political party or conglomerate can claim to be the attorney of people of Jammu and Kashmir because the people have not given mandate to any so-called leader or conglomerate to act as their political attorney. He maintained his stand the people of Jammu and Kashmir are masters of their own fate. Mr. War, while advocating the dialogue between India and Pakistan have said that such kind of dialogue can only create congenial atmosphere for the final settlement of Kashmir Dispute.
Hilal War said that PPP’s Roadmap is the only solution to Kashmir problem. Kashmir history reveals that no political party ever since the partition of India has been able to put forth a viable, practicable roadmap for the resolution of the Kashmir tangle. Hilal War, a young, energetic, enthusiastic and visionary leader and a fiery orator, presented his roadmap on August 10, 1996 for the resolution of Kashmir tangle. Known for his vision and farsightedness coupled with political insight, disclosed his formula before a healthy media conference 16 years back. To him the credit goes, of presenting first ever roadmap for resolution of Kashmir conflict, which is slowly and steadily being adopted by India and Pakistan these days. The visible example of this is, starting the Srinagar – Muzaffarabad Bus Service followed by truck service between two halves of Kashmir. He is the architect and author of the concept of ‘Srinagar-Muzaffarabad Bus and Truck Service. The first two points of aforesaid roadmap have been recognized and acted upon, by India and Pakistan, pertaining to the human and economic aspect of Kashmir problem. PPP Chief said while implementing the aforesaid roadmap India and Pakistan will have no sense of defeat and it is the most viable, practicable, achievable and above all in the larger interests of People of Jammu and Kashmir.
