Hilal War Not Allowed to Offer Friday Prayers on 33rd Consecutive Friday

Srinagar, February 03(KMW): Jammu and Kashmir People’s Political Party (PPP) Chief and senior leader, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Engineer Hilal Ahmad War expressed serious concern over the deteriorated condition of political prisoners particularly youth who are languished in different jails of India.
“The political prisoners have not been provided with the basic amenities under jail manual. The inhuman treatment meted out to prisoners of Kashmir is the sheer violation of Geneva Conventions and fundamental human rights,” said Engineer Hilal Ahmad War.
He further said that the Government of Pakistan being a legitimate party to Kashmir dispute as per UN Plebiscite resolutions is duty bound under International Law to take up the issue of Kashmiri prisoners at International Court of justice or in any International tribunal .
“Our party Chairman, Engineer Hilal War, wasn’t allowed once again to offer Friday prayers on consecutive 33rd Friday in a mosque and was put under house arrest,” said the spokesman.
