Srinagar, July 23(KMW): All Parties Hurriyat Conference (M) Senior leader and People’s Political Party (PPP) Chairman, Engineer Hilal Ahmad War, has hailed and appreciated the statement of Indian lawmaker K. Kavitha, who is member of Lok Sabha the lower house of the Indian parliament, and daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao whereby she has categorically stated that Jammu Kashmir and Telangana are not parts of India and New Delhi has forcibly occupied these territories.
“Hurriyat leader welcomed the Indian Parliament member, K .Kavita’s historic, realistic, bold and bravestance that Jammu and Kashmir is not an Indian State, it is a sovereign nation forcibly occupied by India by her military mightâ€.
According to a statement issued to KMW, Mr. War said Kavita’s statement is an eyes opener to Indian Government led by Narender Modi and her statement vindicates our historic stand that Indian Government has occupied the Jammu Kashmir through its military might against the wishes and aspiration of its inhabitants and also occupied Hyderabad ( now Andra Predesh and Telangana ) through military action immediately after the partition of British India . Her statement amply proves India is foreign country to Jammu and Kashmir.
Mr. War said it is appreciable that K. Kavita spoke in unambiguous terms as an ambassador of right, justice and peace that resolution of Kashmir issue is imperative for South Asian security. This endeavour shows that how serious is new generation of India for resolving Kashmir Dispute and undoing the wrong done by Indian rulers in 1947 which has kept hostage billions of people of this region.
“The stand taken by K.Kavita is based on justice and reflects the true sentiments of Kashmiri peopleâ€, War said. Keeping Kashmir on the top of her Agenda she has displayed her sincerity towards Kashmiris for which she will be remembered always and will remain in the hearts of Kashmiris.
Mr. War added that people of Jammu and Kashmir are expecting from young Indian Parliamentarians to take up the Kashmir issue in the Indian Parliament by following the footsteps of K. Kavita in order to translate the dream of world peace a reality.
