Srinagar: January 26(KMW): The People’s Political Party (PPP) Chairman and Senior leader, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (M), Engineer Hilal Ahmad War is continued to be under house detention since yesterday. Pertinently, Indian State authorities yesterday put Engineer Hilal Ahmad War, under house detention. On Thursday, Police officials informed the Mr. War about his house detention and said that he can’t move out from his Maisuma residence.

PPP Chief had appealed people of Jammu and Kashmir to observe January 26, Indian Republic Day, as ‘Black Day’. The PPP Chairman was scheduled to register a protest on January 26 against India Government’s celebration of Indian Republic Day on the soil of Jammu and Kashmir which is a disputed territory. The PPP spokesperson condemned the house detention of party Chairman in strongest possible words.
